About

I’m a specialist GP with a focus on perimenopause and menopause and the founder of Thrive Noosa Women’s Medicine.

After more than a decade working in women’s health, I’ve cared for many women whose perimenopause symptoms have been overlooked or dismissed. Some have spent months or years feeling unlike themselves without understanding why. These women, and their stories, are a large part of why I created Thrive.

My approach is evidence-based, but just as importantly, I take the time to listen. I want to understand the whole picture before developing an individualised treatment plan, which may include hormonal or non-hormonal medical treatment alongside nutrition, exercise and lifestyle care.

Before becoming a doctor, I worked as a clinical and sports dietitian, and that experience shapes the way I practice medicine today.

I see midlife with perimenopause and menopause as an important opportunity to look beyond symptoms and consider a woman’s future health. My goal is not only to help women feel themselves again now, but to optimise their bone, cardiovascular and metabolic health, reduce their future risk of chronic disease, and support the best possible quality of life in the decades ahead.

I’m committed to keeping my practice current through ongoing education and the latest research and clinical guidance in perimenopause and menopause.

Outside of medicine, I’m a busy mum to three young children, love to travel, and am an average but avid marathon runner. You’ll often find me on the Noosa trails at sunrise, training for my next marathon.
