About

Hi, my name is Alana. I’m a degree-qualified counsellor and integrative therapist with over a decade of experience in the healing arts. I feel fortunate that this journey and way of life has become my career path.

A deep curiosity for the world, a lifelong interest in wellbeing, and a desire to heal from my own past trauma and find emotional calm led me on a journey of nearly a decade exploring yoga, Ayurveda, mindfulness, and the practice of turning inward through self-enquiry. During this time, I also taught yoga and facilitated retreats internationally, which helped me develop a grounded, cross-cultural, and integrative perspective.

This path eventually led me to formal counselling training, where I combined my experiential learning with evidence-based therapy and nervous system-focused approaches. I now work with clients to support emotional healing and wellbeing, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, grief, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

I have a particular interest in supporting highly sensitive, deep-thinking, and thoughtful clients who often feel overwhelmed or under pressure, helping them reconnect with their inner strengths and see sensitivity as something to honour rather than fix.

My intention is for you to feel safe, supported, and empowered in our work together. I also believe you deserve to choose practitioners and spaces where you genuinely feel this. The right therapeutic relationship should feel steady, respectful, and aligned with your values.

My practice focuses on fostering resilience, self-discovery, and emotional regulation, creating space for clients to slow down and explore what they really need. I work with all ages and genders, both in person and online, and facilitate small group therapy circles where people can gain deeper self-awareness, connection, and shared support.

My practice focuses on emotional healing and wellbeing. For immediate crisis support, please contact local crisis services.
